New York has a new problem...

« on: June 12, 2011, 05:40:28 PM »

Two American students are on a walking tour of Britain and are attacked by a Werewolf. One is killed, the other is mauled. The Werewolf is killed but reverts to its human form, and the local townspeople are unwilling to acknowledge its existence. The surviving student begins to have nightmares of hunting on four feet at first but then finds that his friend and other recent victims appear to him, demanding that he find a way to die to release them from their curse, being trapped between worlds because of their unnatural deaths.

I'm pretty sure most of you have seen this.

But I LOVE this movie, (hence my avatar)

The Rick Baker Effects, The Dark Humor, The Weird Dream Sequences, everything!!
This might be the best Werewolf movie ever, (I have yet to see the original 1941 Wolfman)

This film is by far my favorite werewolf film aside from the original Wolfman which is a classic on it's own. Rick Baker did a fantastic job with the special effects, and it's a true example of why CGI should only be used for touch up's because nothing can beat an effect created in person. There was some great humor, a memorable soundtrack, and intense werewolf scenes. I prefer this movie over the Howling, although that one is still great it's not done as well as the film we're talking about here.

Definitely the best werewolf movie. Never really found it scary, even as a kid. But it's just dope. Perfect mix of humor and brutality. I luv the quadruped werewolf. It looks beast as hell. The kills in this movie are sick too.

I got the Full Moon Edition DVD a  month ago and I've watched it 4 times since! Hadn't seen it since 1992! It looks and sounds great. Made me jump a few times.

Some of Rick Baker's best make up I must say. Sparkly vampires and giant puppies hold no sparks to this masterwork. Still one of the best transformation scenes to this day.

This movie is fairly tame compared to a lot of others.
