I remember they had some kind of overnight getaway thing where members were invited to stay at some camp so you got to me everyone(or at least those that attented) from the board in person, I think Brenna arranged it? I just remember seeing photos from it but I don't remeber the exact details of it. Kind of a cool thing to do I guess but I wouldn't have gone just because of the bad experiences I had on their w/ all the rude shit w/ some of the members on there so I can only imagine having to deal w/ it person for one night. I wouldn't want to be held responsible for putting some punk ass motherfucker into the ground because I said something inaccurately about F13th and getting a new one ripped into me for it! Lol! (see my rant about the Tommy Jarvis incident for an explanation on page 2 of this thread)

Haha. Yeah I remember that as well. A bunch of people here wanted me to do the same thing, and at the time you could rent out the cabins in GA where Pt. 6 was filmed I thought it was an awesome idea. But didn't want to copy. Plus my husband was not to thrilled about the idea of spending the weekend overnight with horror fans who were virtually strangers lol. Might get some crazies trying to reenact the movie for real lol!

LOL, ok, see, what had happened was this: Me and Brenna talked a lot and got along pretty well, so did Blake and I, I thought. But, a friend of his, who became a friend of mine along the way, who would talk with Blake in chat, started coming to me telling me Blake had heat with me. Now, I hadn't given this too much thought, because Blake hadn't said anything to me about anything and seemed things were cool between us. Anyway, this goes on for weeks, and then months, of this guy telling me 'Jet, every time me and blake talk the conversation turns to you and how he doesn't like you talking to Brenna.' and 'Blake's hot because he thinks you're trying to move in on Brenna.' and even 'Blake's pissed, Jet, he wants to fight you.'

So, I took a moment to look things over, and I hadn't ever made anything remotely resembling a move on Brenna, we were friends, I chatted her up in the normal way I act, but there was nothing more than friendly chatter. So, I sent Blake a PM, asked him if there was a problem that we needed to talk about, because I was looking to talk it out, reassure him that I wasn't interested in his wife, and we could go on being friends. NO ANSWER. Three weeks later, our mutual friend sends me transcripts of a chat between him and Blake, where Blake calls me a stupid redneck and says he thinks I'm stalking Brenna and all this other shit. So, I sent YET ANOTHER PM, "Seriously, Blake, do we need to talk?" Again, NO ANSWER.

Anyway, I'm gone from the forum for a few months, busy with real life. I get an email out of the blue one day from our mutual friend, another chat log, where Blake is telling him how he had ran me off, how I was scared that he was going to kick my ass so I didn't come around anymore. So, I made my return to the forum, made a big deal of it, sent Blake yet another PM, "Hey, we got something we need to discuss?" Again, NO ANSWER! But I get another chat log from our mutual friend where Blake says he's sick of me and waiting for me to come to the forum gathering so he can kick my ass. So, I send Blake a message in the public forum saying how I can't wait for the big forum gathering and how much I'm looking forward to spending some guy time in the woods with him.  This time I get an answer, "We're actually not sure if we're going to be doing that this year." Last I ever heard from him or of him, not long after the server melted down and that was it, though I've heard from our mutual friend that he was still talking shit about me in 2009. So,  long story short, what the fuck ever.
