I posted there for a few years and they were ban happy, in fact i got banned for posting something about Bill Clinton(guess freedom of speech was a no)I wrote him or Brenna, is kinda long story. They let me back so they did have understandings.
I said before i felt they put this site and Kat though some shit very unnecessary shit and i was not a member here and felt that way.

On this issue I feel they did not want/like idea of 2 cool Friday sites running at the same time. Why???? i guess the old sayings of "2 sides 2 every story"  does mean something but For years Kat had that disclaimer thing I forget what it was called but she laid out her views and they always seemed honest,truth full. I always felt from that she was just looking to run her site and not have issues just give Friday fans a place to come and Friday themselves out.

Hey i did have fun with them and enjoyed my time, meet some cool people even meet Blake and Brenna at one point.

I plan to enjoy my time here as well and hope for an even better experience and truthfully see it as that.

Yeah, I used to have this page on my site expressing what went down between the two sites. I have NO idea what Blake had against this site other then as you said - there being two big sites. At the time my site and his site were really the only two F13th sites out there. I spent a lot of time and $ on my content and he never updated his. Their forum was huge and they claimed official website status when they had none. He (and his friends and some moderators) used to send me hate mail, get me banned from sites, posted dozens of hateful messages. At one point impersonated me in our old old old chat room because I didn't know that he helped run the site the chat room was hosted on. He used to tell people I stole all my content from other F13th sites...which made no sense because for a LONG time I was the only site with everything...now people steal from me.

They refused to allow mention of my website on their forum. Anytime someone posted a link, the link was edited and they'd make a note saying shit about me stealing and the site. So, because my link was banned there, I had banned their link as well. It seemed only fair, after all I was being attacked for nothing.

I took down the page that described all this stuff because Blake gave up his site a few years back. Nothing made me happier then to see his forum closed down. People BEGGED me to buy the site. I didn't bother trying given everything that happened between the two sites. All I ever did was defend myself.

Anyhow, Blake doesn't run or own it anymore and the new webmaster seems pretty nice anytime I've ever talked to him. He's been helpful to give me the layout that I now use on the Shivers of Horror site for the blog that they used to use on their blog. Heck he told me if I wanted to use it for CB to go for it. But I didn't want to "copy" so I haven't.

LOL, Blake Washer instantly comes to people's minds whenever the words 'ban list' are thrown out there, some things never change. I'm also a refugee from his old forum, and, yeah, it was without doubt the most ban happy bunch of fuckers on the internet. There were people banned for disagreeing with mods, for their fan fics not being 'pc' enough, for all sorts of stupid reasons. And, tbh, I got a little sick of Blake always trying to make himself sound so fucking important. After a while it just got tedious.

I can never really fully express how much better this site is than that one, other than to say if I had found Camp Blood first I would've never been a member over there to begin with. I'm definitely glad that there's not as much banning, backstabbing, and forum politics here as there was there (that forum was in a constant state of civil war) and if it ever gets that way I'll be looking for another horror home again.

There are TONS of people who've come and gone from CB that I haven't gotten along with, or didn't like. As much as I wanted to ban for that fact, I never did, because I don't want to be like that forum once was (I have no idea what it is like now that its back up)

I hope that our small ban list (which I think is about 10-15 people since 2005) speaks for itself. I do ban "spammers" that register but I don't count those people. I'm talking real legit members who've posted here before that are banned are about 10-15 people. Not bad since 2005.

Holy shit! I never realized that and I was a member on that forum while that was going on! If I had known I would have deleted my account, that's fucked up! I could have just voiced my opinion on something too and get banned for no reason if I couldn't delete it! Lol! That's how uncomfortable I was on there at times, like I had to walk on eggshells w/ people and I DO NOT do well w/ that since it's one of my pet peeves. An example, I was talking about The Final Chapter and Tommy Jarvis and I had a brain fart and said Jarvers instead (it happens, we've all been there) and I got reamed by another member for saying it wrong! I was new too! It's like who the fuck are you asshole?! I'm a very laid back guy and EASY to get along with. why get so insulting and serious over shit like that. It happened a few times to people from what I remember and I felt pressured to research anything I wanted to post w/ my facts straight. Who needs that on fucking forum?! I have enough shit to deal with then some internet loser who has no life. Shut he fuck up, get laid, get a life, and stop spreading your misery onto others who don't quite hate life so much. Sorry, my rant for the day but that's how pissed I would get on there. I certainly don't feel that here which is awesome. Glad things worked out though for Camp Blood.

Hahaha. I feel the same way. I was never a member there. I registered and posted once asking for an explanation as to why they were harassing me. And they banned me. I wasn't even rude about anything. I think they even edited my post to make it look terrible. I don't remember. I'm just glad that he doesn't run that site anymore I feel bad for all those people who wanted to seriously talk about the movies and got booted or banned or talked down to for things like you just described.

A lot of people felt that way. In the end I had to do what I felt best for the forum. Maybe when he grows up (he was really young, that isn't an insult of any kind) he can come back to the forum and take part in regular discussions in a more mature manner.

Haha what did you say about him? I'm not an active member anywhere else but here and Haddonfield and SOMETIMES I respond on the Bloody Disgusting blog. But I'm not surprised that people are still like that with him. Hey maybe he was a nice guy in private to his close friends, but he sure wasn't to me...for NO REASON other then I had a site that had a hell of a lot more content then he had. Thats it. What's pathetic, is he (and a lot of his mods and friends) lied saying I stole everything on my site from other Friday sites and everyone believed him. They never thought "wait a sec there are only 2-4 F13th sites...and I've been to them all and never seen this content before, so how'd she steal it?" they all just agreed with him.

She was just as bad as him to me if not worse from what I recall. I'm just glad those people are done with the website. I said I've heard of him and he sounds like a real asshole, and every one replied saying "He's cool so fuck off!" then the admin gave me a PM and said "He still visits this site, and a lot of people like him, so you should shut up."

I don't like F13 community anyway, none of them really like Friday The 13th they all bitch about the productuion values of the movies.

Aleast Friday The 13th Films has a new forum, and it's in really good hands.

I was a member of the board on there i never got banend but then again i mostly just post on a games board on there but that board was very bad. You would get banned for anything. If they hate you your banned if one of them call you out on something and you try to defend yourself your banned. etc etc etc.


Thank God Camp Blood is nothing like that.  Kat hardly banned anyone expect for Spammers if someone who not spam get banned on here then they must did something very bad or not fall the rules like Shuttle did when Kat & all us Mods told him stop posting off topic crap in threads that has nothing to do with the thread.

TBH, Blake always came across as a neuter to me, had to be a dick on that forum because he had no power in his own real life. And, I'm sure someone on here is still friends with Blake and will no doubt run tell him about all this so, to that end, I would like to paraphrase the late, great Macho Man Savage and say:
