Stupid Emails take 2

I just mean, if the cast and crew were ON their message board, couldn't they see what a joke he was? If he was that bad there...like he was to me...I couldn't see them wanting to associate with that,

None of the cast and crew posted there on a regular basis, not during the years that I was there anyway.  They were very infrequent and brief with their visits.  Even Daskawicz didn't stay around long; I guess he eventually got sick of bashing Warrington because he rarely said anything else.

It was funny, because one time I asked him, "Hey man, all bullshit aside, tell me how some of the kills were done.  What was cut to get an "R" rating?"  And his response was, "I honestly don't know, I wasn't there for any of the kills."  I thought that was really funny, because his whole premise on slandering Warrington Gillette was that he mostly played Jason and Warrington didn't, but now here he was admitting that all the actual killing wasn't him.

Apparently, Daskawicz did the stalking, Ellen somebody did the prowling, the makeups effects crew did the killing, and Warrington did the unmaked scenes.

Don't forget Blake & Brinna would banned someone in chatroom is they say the name Jason. It happen to me in 2003 i was watching one of the movies & was chatting on the chatroom because for some reson no one was in Shivers of Horror Chatroom or Y2K chat and i wanted to Chat and i ask someone a question about Jason and next thing i got banned from the chatroom

I never heard anything about that, but I rarely went into the chatroom.  Every time I did, it was the same old shit: the mods would instantly start heckling you and trying to provoke you, and then when you took the bait and said something back, you'd get booted out.

I still say this is the better site. I think Shivers of Horror is more civilized and Kat will let just about anyone in like a good host (and an even better admin). I will stand by this site until I die. Kat and everyone here at Shivers of Horror will always have the King's support.

I was a member of the Friday the 13th films website and forum for a long time, from like 2003-2007, and I loved it there. But, comparing this forum and that one is like comparing apples to oranges. This site is much more fan based whereas Blake's site was more corporate, so this has a more homey feel. I liked Blake's wife, Brenna, and a lot of the people there on the forum, but for someone to say this site is second rate is insulting to me personally. For what it's worth, Kat, I think this is an awesome forum and an awesome site with awesome people.

What a moron that guy is. There's nothing wrong with donations for a site you enjoy. It's not like you charge us for signing up and posting. People like that ebh loser should go find something better to do. And claiming he got your YouTube account shut down? Forget him, Kat. He's probably some jock asshole you turned down for a date in high school who's now an Internet stalker. He's not worth your time.

I just hope I made it clear that I DON'T want people choosing sides cause there isn't anything to choose. Visit both sites, register at both sites, have fun at both sides and always think for yourself. - because others did not when Blake ran it.

I think its really childish that people are trying to cause issues between the sites by sending emails like this. Hopefully it will be the last of its kind. Cause there is NO reason for it at all.

I am surprised this thread is still going. I knew that Blake and Brenna had their enemies, but wow, it really is wide spread. Perhaps by their own actions, they have brought on this hatred themselves. Looks like the email sent to Kat is doing it's job.

Well yes and no Jason. Its actually helping your site out a little I think as long as the person continues to read the thread. Its going on to say that the old webmasters were awful, whereas the newer ones arent...and goes to show that we can get along.

As for how many people dislike or downright hate the previous webmasters. I'd have to say I've met well over 100 people in the last few years who despise them. LOL. I remember getting numerous newbies to the forum stating they were banned there and hoped to make this their new home.

BUT...you also have to remember that even troublemakers complain about people - so back then, without examples of stuff, for all you know it could have been a legit ban, but from the stories I've heard over the years...I'd guess that 80% of the bans (that I've heard of) were not justified.

They were way too quick with the bans, I saw that for myself, and very few of the bans I thought were for ban-worthy offenses. What here would be a minor disagreement and over in a matter of a few posts with everyone being okay with each other a day or two later would result in at least one ban there, depending upon who was friendly with who. Again, understand that it pains me to say these things, but I don't lie for anybody. There were people there who became good friends to me: Joe, Emmabelle, Jason's Storm, Traci, CulpBZ, all great people who I loved and still do and would enjoy hearing from again, but this is a much nicer atmosphere.

As far as the claims that all of the stars were members there, I can only ever attest to having seen Steve Dash & Larry "Shelly" Zerner there (I actually had a couple of posts with him) and they were rare in their appearances. So, anyone who makes it seem that the stars of the series were on there all the time is either deluded or full of shit.
