Stupid Emails take 2

Yikes! Sorry to see you still get that type of email, Kat. And it is not cool to start problems between websites. Kat has organized a lot of great images and media that is easy to find, which is awesome! And thank you Kat for the praise on the blog. It is a lot of work and I like to keep everyone up-to-date on everything Friday the 13th.

I have more than a few people mention that the two sites should merge, utilizing your awesome archives and the blog and Fridaypedia. 

Yes, the fridaythe13thfilms.com website has less archived images and media compared to this website, but has been slowly transitioning to what the new owner has envisioned. There is a lot of information pertaining to shooting locations, actors, exclusive behind the scenes images and so on that eventually will be added to the new wiki based Fridaypedia fromthe blog. It may never match what Kat has done, but it will be unique to the website and informative.


Overall, there just should not be this crap as we are all fans. However, these two sites have had history in the past and seems like a little is still there, just from angry fans, however. You have a great community and I am glad everyone enjoys their time here

By the way I just checked out the website the e-mail was talking about and it suuuuucks! It looks like a cheap blog with nice graphics and it doesn't even have a forum yet! I don't usually bash other websites, but I just gotta keep it real here

Hmm. As Dalton says in Roadhouse, "Opinions vary". Seriously, though, the website did have a forum previously, but after ownership chnageover, we were not aloud per contract to have a new forum. Not until very. very recently were we given the go ahead to add one back. Coming soon.


As for a cheap blog with nice graphics, I don't think you'll find a better blog with information on the Friday the 13th series than that one. And that IS a fact. Just keepin' it real.

Well i wasnt hating on the site i was just sayin what i felt when i saw it. I know websites take a great deal of work and didnt know it was still under construction and i think u guys should annunce that so people know new things are in the works. So far campblood has way more stuff and is my favorite f13th site, but keep up the work and make sure who ever is trying to cause tension between the sites is aired out so people know whats going on and fans of the sites dont feel like chosing sides. Who ever is sending these emails is trying to stir shit up and thats not cool at all and i still stand by my post of what i think about this person and what he or she wrote made me think it was a person involved with the other site and if that is not the case yall should let it be known

I do not work for Fridaythe13thfilms.com infact I hate the former owners of the Site Blake and Brenna Washer, I use to be a member of the forums back in the day and was a mod at one time before I spoke my piece and got fired/banned but I was just clearing up that what people are seeing today is not what it use to be, that the site outside the forums was very well kept.

No problem. I just found this thread today and felt it necessary to let everyone know where I stand so there are no problems. I like the forum and that is why I stop by from time to time and post. When I see some of the comments towards the site I work for, I need to speak up for it.


As for posting a message about the site being worked on, all of our normal visitors are aware of the additions and new visitors never seem to comment about the look of the website to this point. And believe me, we get a lot of comments. As a matter of fact, the splash landing page is very retro to the old site.

I just hope I made it clear that I DON'T want people choosing sides cause there isn't anything to choose. Visit both sites, register at both sites, have fun at both sides and always think for yourself. - because others did not when Blake ran it.

I had issues with the ex-webmasters of the site, I don't know the new owner other then a brief couple emails we had when he took over. I actually emailed him when he took over telling him I was glad Blake was no longer running it, I think I briefly filled him in, and asked for a link on the site, and I think that day the link was up.

The old site was rarely updated and just had small things here and there. The new owner has JasonsFury working on the blog and whatnot and it seems - from what I have seen - that he keeps it up to date daily with new stuff and info. And as he said, he's adding more.

EDIT: People have issues with me not updating daily, and sometimes hourly with info. I just cannot do this, and won't do it. If someone else wants to help out and do it, by all means, but I haven't had any offers LOL. I update when I can.

I think its really childish that people are trying to cause issues between the sites by sending emails like this. Hopefully it will be the last of its kind. Cause there is NO reason for it at all.

I think the site is kept up pretty well, not "crap" like you mentioned. It's not complete yet, but we're getting there. Sorry that you are disgruntled from your experience at the site, but it is not like that anymore. Scouts honor.

Well Kat, I ain't tryin to chose a side, but at first when I read the message, I kinda connected the e-mails to that site... But it's cool, I ain't trippin on nobody except for the person who wrote the e-mails.. Jasonfury, keep up the good work and make sure this asshole who wrote those e-mails doesn't dirty up the website name.
