i think the worse TCM is, the Reunion one with Renee Zelwigger, I thought that one was terrible
I will certainly agree with you there! Part 3 is pretty bad as well. But part 2 is a glorious masterpiece that is just as good as the original, only a little more fun. I think part of the madness that grew within the characters stemmed from a bit of the cabin fever being that the family has been laying kind of low and therefore getting a little stir-crazy over the last 15ish years or so. That's why they were the goofy bastards they were in the sequel. I don't think they were really trying to be humorous, but were just stark raving mad.

I'm surprised they lived as long as that with the diet they ate.. Some of that meat didn't look very good!

The only thing I like about pt.3 is the soundtrack. I haven't watched it in awhile though so I would have to see about the movie itself. I bought the dvd so I guess I must have liked something else about it? Lol!

You know what? I'd do bad things to Caroline Williams with that chainsaw. VERY bad things. I never realized how hot the scene with Leatherface and the chainsaw and the beer were...but it was awesome.

lol Nikki, I don't think we'll be finding a convert here.  Let's send 1,000 boxes of lighters and wire hangers out in the meantime. haha

As for Dennis Hopper being over the top, that's what he was good at.  Jesus, has anyone seen him in 'Blue Velvet'?!
lol @ lighters and wire hangers! Burn 'er like a rat! Burn 'er like a rat! Burn er' like a rat, rat, rat! Pure awesomeness!

No, haven't seen Blue Velvet, but since I enjoyed Dennis Hopper so much in TCM2, and since I think it was such an AMAZING film, I should probably add it to the Netflix.

Dennis Hopper's performance was EPIC! "I'M THE LORD OF THE HARVEST!"
Chop Top was awesome and funny, in a weird way
Stretch was HOT!
Tom Savini did the effects
It wasn't a wannbe of the first, like 3 and 4, it took a completey differnt direction in a great way

this is a great ol gruesome fun rollercoaster ride and i love every minute of it

and the performances by Mosely, Siedow, and Hopper are uproariously over the top and just fun to watch

aside from gunnar hansen's legendary leatherface this has the best leatherface
