This trailer for the doco was announced yesterday and I wrote about it at that time, but big news for Tom Savini and Friday fans as there is a new documentary almost finished in the can for the "father" of Jason Voorhees. The doco takes a look at no only his career, but his life before film. Should be a very good documentary for fans of horror to check out.

The plan is indeed to release a DVD, from what I am told. I look forward to seeing this as Savini is an awesome effects man in the industry.

This is the first I've heard of this doc and I'm definetly excited to see it.  Hopefully it will have alot of cool behind the scenes stuff about how individual iconic effects were created and thought out.
