I too, liked the movie. It is a modern telling of the character, so it won't have that old feel of the franchise.

True, but I think they could still recapture that old feeling in a modern tale.

I liked the "modernness" and i still think they maintained a little of that old feel the opening actually felt a lot like old friday the 13th and i loved it but its nice to mix it up.

Yeah, that's actually how I felt about it, you know, like something missing... not that's bad movie or anything, but it could do a lot way better Wink I love the prologue though!

File this one under WTF as Warner Bros. Pictures has removed Friday the 13th Part 2 in 3D from its release calendar and has now filed it under TBD. The sequel to the Platinum Dunes remake being scripted by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift was intended to hit theaters on Friday, August 13, 2010

thanks to BD

Although, nothing has been officially announced, it is too bad that it is looking like the new Friday will be pushed back a bit before t's release. It will be fun to see when it does make it to the theater again!

I agree with Jimmy. I was a little worried about it coming out so soon with ANOES still being worked on.

I'm glad they pushed it back too.I'd rather them take extra time with it and make it as good as they can instead of rushing it out.

I don't think it's being pushed back to deal with quality issues, New Line probably want to space out it's horror releases for maximum exposure.

I hear May 13, 2011 as the new target date for the sequel. Possibly going up against Spidey 4. That takes balls!
