I actually hate pt.5. The series kind of went down hill after pt.3 at least until The New Nightmare which was cool. I wanted to like pt 4 but Freddy was just too comical and more of like a MTV/party animal thing going on. Roll Eyes Idk.

Yeah, a lot of fans of the early, darker films don't really like the stand up comic Freddy. I'm not all that crazed about him myself being a fan of the darker fare of the first 3 films. That being said, this movie wasn't bad, just not the series finest moment.

Yeah, I figured it would be. Either that or Freddy's Dead. Neither of them were very good uses of the character of Freddy.

Yeah more specifically he said Dream Child was one of his least favorites to work on so I guess we can assume the other was Freddy's Dead.

although having the lowest body count... i really like the visuals and the story in this one.. i like the plot of freddy using a fetus to get to alice...thought it was clever..

yeah the death in the comic book was awesome... although not one ounce of blood.. its an amazing scene with great effects...
