A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child discussion

So what did everyone think about Dream Child?
I like it. Its not the best in the series but not the worst either. I like the back story to Amanda's rape and Freddy's birth. Also it was dark movie.
Only thing i hated about the movie is that Freddy only killed 3 people when in Dream Warriors and Dream Master he killed alot of people. Also I hated the Comic book death i though it was lame and not scary at all.
So come on and join then fun and post about Dream Child

I haven't seen this for a long time. But I recall not enjoying it all that much. I think for me I really only enjoy 1,3,4,6....
But I should be watching this, this weekend

I personally thought this was the worst in the series, i honestly hated it, especially Freddy's makeup,, in the 5th and 6th movie it looked so fake. But anyways aside from that I kind of liked the comicbook part of the movie, I laughed so hard at Super Freddy lol

The best scenes in this movies were Dan's transformation and Greta's death in the deleated scene cut.
For me, is this on of the weaker part of this series.
The 6th part is the weakest ever of the nightmare films.

This is one of the movies that I have seen the most......I like how dark the film is and how creepy Jacob was.
I thought the comic book scene was kool.....looking back it kinda reminds me of the AHA video for Take on Me
Overall one of the good ones-not too funny, not too over the top.
and wasn't this the one where Freddy has the Soul Pizza? I don't really remember because it's been a while and I never got to get the box set (No more Circuit City)

As i was watching Dream Child tonight i always wonder how come they change Freddy song from 9, 10 never sleep again to 9, 10 he's back again since that was the only time they ever did it because in Freddy's dead they went back having Never Sleep again. I guess something we never know.

I just recently became a Freddy fan. I haven't seen this one yet. I've seen 1 through 4, and Freddy vs. Jason. Is Dream Child any good?
