The town of Harmony would like to forget its horrific past.Ten years ago, after a tragic accident, harry Warden awoke from his coma on Valintine's day-and brutally murdered 22 people witha pick axe before being killed himself. Now,after years of peace, theres a killer on the loose.again wearing a miners mask and brandishing a pickaxe.Has Harry warden returned from the dead?--Quote from the movie itself.

I watched this in the theaters the Day it came out, unfortunately not in 3D.So I bought it yesterday and watched it last night in 3D and was dissapointed.I heard how cool it was in theaters but It wasnt the same at home.

The 3D glasses that come with the movie are cool though.Instead of the old style, these glasses are pink and green. It seems to take away the headaches that comes when watching through the red/blue.

Spoiler (hover to show)

Now I wanna watch Friday the 13th 3D again with these glasses-minus the headache

I saw this in the theater with 3D, and it was awesome. It was the first 3D movie I had seen in the theater with the clear glasses.

I rented the movie through Netflix, so I'm sure they won't give me these new 3D glasses you speak of...I get the movie tomorrow. My only options will be to watch them with Blue/Red glasses Sad

Yeah, so I rented this through Netflix....and it doesn't have the option for 3D...pretty freakin lame if you ask me. Its the main reason I rented it. Wanted to see how the transfer was since I saw it in 3D at the theater. Oh well.

Saw this one again tonight, 2nd time, but first time not in 3D...saw it in the theater in 3D.

But I'm left wondering a few things..and have some thoughts...

It does contain information on the ending and whatnot, so I'll put it in a spoiler space

Why are the hearts cut out in this movie? They never explain it, but one character states "its a copycat" after seeing one of the hearts in the box. Yet the guy never did that to kill anyone before? So, why include that in this movie?

Why does Sarah wait so long to put the alarm on when she's stuck in that room with the other girl?

I really think they should have extended the middle part of the movie. The part where Tom and his friends get attacked as young adults. Then shortened up the end of the movie.

Also, did I miss something? Why did everyone blame Tom for the accident at the mine?

Spoiler (hover to show)

This movie was much better in the theater with the 3D to blow you away. In fact, a lot of the gore in the beginning of the movie looks way too CGI...I seem to recall that in the theater 3D it wasn't that bad.

Overall the movie isn't that horrible, but it does have its holes.

the ending didnt work for me at all.. i thought it was stupid....i thought the same thing about the whole supermarket scene.. she should of hit that alarm earlier.. and ulsess there was a door somewhere closer.. theres no way he would have gotten around the building so fast....

The movie is a horror movie remake.

Some theaters had it in 3d and others did not, it all depends on your theater.

I thought the movie was okay in 2D, and really fun in theater 3D. Haven't gotten to watch it at home in 3D.
