Here we can discuss the remake of My Bloody Valentine. I got a kick out of the make up effects and the hardwork they went into with their 3D effects. Even though I wasn't able to see the 3D version I still thought the make up effects were good.

I'll be seeing the 3D version on Saturday night.

I hear that all DVD transfers for home watching have to be in red/blue glasses. (unless you have all this special stuff) Which I just experianced for the first time tonight, and didn't enjoy all that much haha. So I'm glad I'll be seeing MBV in 3D in the theater, cause I don't wanna wear the red/blue glasses!

LOL Hi-5, they give me a headache! Mind you the last time I put them on was to watch the Hannah Montana concert (don't ask)...so not sure if it was the glasses or her heavenly voice Tongue

This movie was absolutely terrible. I went into the theatre with the mindset of, "Oh, well its in 3D. It must be at least kind of cool."  No. It was terrible. Don't waste your money on this film.

I would presume so. It seems to me that the marketing value of selling a movie with the whole 3D marketing ploy would make it that much more juicy of a buy for fans.

Then again who knows. If anything I think they will release a more expensive 3D version equiped with glasses and probably unrated, and a regular version.

I recall reading something a week or two ago, that the DVD would be released 3-D (normal red/blue glasses)

I felt weird wearing them for Friday 13th 3D, and had a headache the entire time, and for many hours afterwards.

I saw this when it was first released in 3D. It was amazing, 3D, 2D and beyond. I loved it.

I guess we can call this the revival of 3D. It was huge around the 50's and 60's, and even had a very brief run circa '83, but is it back to be used as a gimmick to but butts in the seats in this struggling economy?

Also is it worth checking out MBV 3D in theaters or should I wait for DVD?

Saw this last night...fuckin $14 per person (since you 'rent' the glasses and recycle them after the movie - if you want to. I kept mine) online it said that theater was only $10.25...oh well

The movie wasn't worth that kind of money...however I still enjoyed it more then the original. I know there was a lot different from the original though, some things they probably should have kept in. But for what it was I enjoyed it. Will def. give it a rental and watch in 2D when it comes out.

It had its own sorta cheese...like it was sorta making fun of itself..like there was one moment where this person gets locked in this room, and instead of hitting the alarm button right away, does like all these other things for 10 minutes...then hits the button..the jealous husband that has no right to be jealous...I dunno, lots of "funny" but not totally intentional funny scenes, but it didn't make the movie BAD.

I was pretty shocked how gory the beginning was. Man I wish Friday The 13th could have gotten away with that years ago (hopefully the remake will)

But yea, def. glad I saw this one in 3D (my first 3D theater flick), I think they should make all TV/Movies that way haha. The 3D was amazing, seeing the backgrounds and people 3D...I wish the Friday 3D DVD could have been exactly like this. That would have been amazing.

EDIT: OH, I forgot...the whole ending...LAME! Someone will have to post the original's ending cause I think i remember it, but not sure.
