Yeah, I love the opening scenes of that movie. It felt like the movie was going in the right direction at that point.  Jason Pt. 7 Unmasked

U can really tell which films Kane is in because he would put his input in and it brought the film to another level u know?

yeah that was something that was sorely missing from FvJ. The new guy just did what he was told and he was rather boring as Jason. I mean he's alright but I thought he was to slow in some scenes. It was more like Frankenstein than Jason.

Who was too slow as Jason ? Are you referring to Ken from FvJ , or Mears  from the remake ?

I liked Ken when i first saw the movie . It may have been just out of hype and the long wait to see the film though . Looking back now i find his portrayal to be very stiff and forced in a way .

Kane did a great job as the zombie version of the character for those few movies .

Is it just me or is Kia's death just weak? I mean who gets hit with the machete and goes flying into a tree right after one other person had just been cut in half at the waist by it.

She was originally supposed to be decapitated but Kelly Rowan would have none of it. So they changed it to suit her needs.

I don't know how one can sign on to one of these films and then object to getting killed in a nasty way. Then again, I guess we can be lucky she actually was willing to die at all. Look at LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes.

If there is that would most likely be an MPAA thing, not because that actor is so popular that he can re-write his death scene the way someone like Destiney's Child can.
