Horrible movie, just awful.  Jason Lives and Jason X are by far the worst sequels in the series.

Both films have merit, but as Friday sequels they fail miserably.  New Line never treated Friday series with any kind of respect, not that Paramount did ... but New Line did the exact opposite of what they wanted to do.

Jason lives is far better than 5,8,JGTH and X-and is actually my fav of the undead/zombie Jasons

It's just personal preference.  For me, 1-4 are the gold standard.  I enjoy the other sequels but they never seemed to capture what made 1-4 so good, I chalk that up to the producers trying to interject new factors in the story to take it in different direction, breaking away from the formula.  The two New Line Jason films are just not as exciting to me, but then again they went in another direction to give the series new life.  Some like it, some do not.

Don't get me wrong, the effects are outstanding but the stories are just not as interesting to me.  The entire Jason slug/possession thing is just not Friday the 13th to me.

Jason x was a great entertaining sequel in the series! i loved it!
made me jump so many times and UBER Jason ROCKS! i love how this one is set in the future and i love how it changes the formula but it still had it Friday the 13th moment with the sleeping bag scene!  over all i loved this one in a different way then the other 1,000 out of 100 BABY!  Jason X

Yeah, Kane is the reason to watch the movie.........It was pretty cool to watch in theatres though, but it didn't have really good publicity.......The only commercial I saw for it was at like 1-2:00 in the morning-But I had to see that movie because the commercial was sooo cool (Jason stalking people while Drowning Pool's Bodies plays in the background)  Awsome-and the frist Jason movie I saw in theatres. Freddy vs. Jason was the second one (saw it a t the drive in)
