Toolbox Murders isn't exactly a classic, but it's definitely recommended for any fans of sleazy eighties horror.  And the 2004 Tobe Hooper remake was actually pretty good too.

The Toolbox Murders was nothing special to me. It was just another one of those "nothing" slasher films that came out and was over shadowed by [rightfully so] the superior Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises.

I usually like any slasher movie I run across.

I dislike a lot of slasher films. I love the major ones though. I like Sleepaway Camp and Bloody Murder and Hatchet as well.

I love slasher movies too.  I agree, there are a lot of bad ones out there.  But I find myself very forgiving with slasher movies.  I'll sit through a mediocre slasher film like Happy Birthday to Me more willingly than a mediocre film from another genre.

I agree with all of these . Bloody Murder was the most blatant F13th clone i've seen , but i still enjoyed it . I'd like to see the sequel at some point .
