Just because no body has been found does not mean that bigfoot does not exist.  Yes, we can't prove that bigfoot actually does exist, but there is also no proof that bigfoot doesn't exist either.  Being a wilderness "creature" that he is, I'm sure that if a bigfoot didn't want to be found, you wouldn't find him! I personally do think that he does exist because with all the sightings from around the world, it would be a little strange that everyone who has seen one is hallucinating and seeing the same creature.  The chances of that happening for the last several centuries is pretty much slim to none.  The earth is a very big place and the human race occupies only about 10% of it, therefore it would seem very likely that there are huge possibilities that creatures or animals like bigfoot could exist in these remote places without science knowing it!!

My great grandpa used to try to track bigfoot down IDK if he ever found him or not but hes seen stuff like tracks and hair but not the actual Bigfoot

Bigfoot isnt real.The most sightings were in the70s.Since then theres been a lot of suff  that has happened.Logging,way less trees and more roads nowadays.Theres a lot more hunters,fishemen,hikers,campers.photagraphers.Meaning that they should have found him by now if the thing was real,or a body,but they havent.And the biggest evidence,the patterson film could possibly be a hoax

Not necessarily, bigfoot is a master of the wilderness. If he doesnt want to be found, he's not gonna let you find him!!!  They can be just feet from you in the woods and not be able to be seen!! Don't sell bigfoot short!

Maybe not see but smell,thier known for smelling foul.

If I remember right it started with a story of an ape-boy that was put on display in a side show after it was killed. I'm willing to throw that in the round file as there was so much 'Yellow Journalism' in those days. I actually recently saw a show on the Neo Geo channel called American Paranormal. And in their pilot ep. Bigfoot was the subject. The Patterson film being looked at closely too. They where able to get a copy of the original film print from Patterson's widow and process it to DV and then clean it up, stabilize all the shaking, ect. They also went back to the exact spot where Patterson shot it and did measurements of the trees, landmarks from where Patterson was. The whole thing was quite interesting. They also analyzed hair and droppings for DNA.

The conclusion they reached was that the footage was most likely genuine, as in Patterson was filming a real creature. They even tried to replicate the footage with an actor and computer tech. They couldn't. The investigation did point out that the film footage is bashed a lot because what a lot of people see is a copy of a copy of a copy, ad infinitum. The DNA also came back as being primate, but of an unknown species. There you have.

I was generalizing a bit. What I meant was that was when it came to white man's attention. Yeah, many Native American cultures had documented Sasquatch for centuries before that. I have read that before the "Jacko" story, (keep your jokes to yourselves, folks), and the "Ape Canyon" story it was regarded as Native America superstition and dismissed. But as I said the press in those days had a habit of both publishing false stories or overtly exaggerated ones to drum up business. It happened more often than you think so those sort of tales have to be taken with a grain of salt. There's actually a supposed UFO crash case from Aurora, TX that has been talked about that took place in the late 1800's. And it too demonstrated how reporters of that era would all out lie.

Actually, I'm a Bigfoot believer. But it sure would be nice to lay some hands actual physical evidence.
