I forgot how much I enjoyed this one....it has countless questions and gaps...but it still holds strong as a whole...the alter ate/deleted ending is awesome IMO....but I I dunno if I would as much if it were actually in the film....JV is portrayed awesome in this one...very manic and violent..yet manages to still be stealth between kills...one thing that grabbed me from the beginning was that at first I thought that doug and...sara (I think? ) were gonna be the main characters...

Yeah, this movie really works well in spite of, or maybe because of, it's many faults.

Exactly! The questions that this film raises seems to attract me to it more....maybe because I like to speculate and make up my own answers/ scenarios...

Yeah, I'm the same way, I love to draw my own conclusions and speculate.

Second best after Jason Lives and IMO the last truly scary film of the series, Jason has never been more menacing nor brutal. Ted White for sure had to be the most intimidating Jason ever, he's such a psychopath in this one. Add to an outstanding Jason portrayal some awesome and violent-as-Hell death scenes, the ominous darker-than-dark atmosphere and tone, good heroic characters in Tommy and Trish, and IMO the best finale of the series. TFC's easily one of the best F13 movies.
Hands down the best F13 sequel! I agree Ted White is hardcore! His portrayal of Jason is perfection. The only thing that really irritates me about this film is Rob's death. A whole lot of thought was put into his character only to have him so easily offed. Sad really. What a waste.

I respect ted alot for the way he stood up for the cast to Ziti...to my understanding. Ziti was very demanding and had the cast working long hours and whatnot....I vaguely remember him threatening to walk unless he eased up a lil bit on them...

I have always wished ROB put up a fight, but as years passed and I have gotten older I believe this. Evryone can punch someone in the face everyone will protect thier own the best they can and everyone will want some revenge but ti act on that revenge would be the tuffest thing someone could face I'll tell you know I'd kill someone who hurts my children no doubt in my heart, but I don't know what would happen if I got said chance would I do it or freeze? I have never been put in such a situation so I don't know if I truly could I can only tell you today I would. So with that Rob had balls had a small plan and went to work then possibly he went after Jason and was unprepared and of course our boy is...well different then a real person. overpower and possible froze but he did go after him,no reason to believe he anything more then a hunter of game not(un)human.

The reason Rob died is because he was an idiot. He went into the woods with one gun to take on a serial killer, then leaves the gun in his tent when he goes for a walk, where it's destroyed. I can't feel too bad for someone who dumbs themselves to death.

Ted White is an AWESOME Jason. He's one I would have liked to have seen make more than one appearance.

What can I really say about this movie? It was the first Friday flick I saw in it's entirety and it made me want to see them all at that point in the 80s. It's just beautifully shot, I can't really explain it. For instance, in the opening scenes at the Higgins Haven aftermath, I love how they hang on to that shot of the ranch in the dark for that few seconds after the helicopter flies away. It may sound stupid to some but I love it, it just has this morbid homage feel to it. Even when they show Pamela's grave, it has that same feeling too. I love how thats little graveyard is so randomly placed like that and I have a thing for old cemeteries too. It really is just little things like these that help the atmosphere of this movie. Also, a hot cast of actresses always helps!
Yes, I'm guilty of trying to do Jimbo's dance too, somewhere out there a video clip exists of me doing this at my friends halloween party and I was dressed as The Crow so it makes it that much funnier. If I ever find a way to get that from VHS to dvd to computer then I'll post it! Lmfao! Seriously though, I have no flaws with this flick and it's really one of my passionate favorites of the series!

This was the first Friday I saw too. It remains my favorite. I will passionately defend this film till my death. Evil, please don't be such a dead fuck. Everyone needs to see your Jimbo dance as soon as you can run that through your little computer. Goddamn, this film is gold! Oh hell, I think I should open a topic asking people to post their best Jimbo dance moves.

Well, he learned them at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. From a guy who suspiciously looked like the son he would later have, lol.
On that note, did anyone else ever wonder why George McFly didn't get really suspicious of his wife when his son grew up to look EXACTLY like their old high school chum Calvin Klein?

This was actually the 4th Friday I saw. I saw Jason Goes to Hell in theaters. Then I saw Jason Lives on TV. Then I rented Part 1. Then I rented this. After that I started to buy them. I can remember the very first time I ever saw this film. I rented it on VHS back in the day. Jason was portrayed as super bad guy, as I thought as a kid. I absolutely loved the character because of this film and the others I saw.
Friday Final Chapter was really all the best elements of the franchise up to that point mixed into one film. It would become the single film that inspired the remake the most I think. I loved the structure of the film. It began with the backstory at the campfire. Then Jason comes back to life. We get to know each character in this film suprisingly well.

Maybe George forgot about ol' Calvin. Calvin wasn't really around for very long. He's like the kid who moves there for like a month and then moves away, now what was his name again? Forgotten.
Just curious though is it incest if you're your own dad?
I need to learn some dance moves. No one dances better than Jimbo...no one
