Me and a group of friends tried using one on Halloween about two years ago now and nothing happened. We got bored and gave up after a while. I gotta admit, I was pretty disappointed. I mean, I have heard all sorts of stories about other people's experiences with Ouija Boards but now I'm thinking it's all made up. People like to be scared and make shit up, so I guess I was being naive.

Has anyone else tried using one and had the same experience, or did something actually happen?

You could say the same thing about "real" Ouija boards.

I am a very big fan of the 80s film Witchboard. I like the second one as well.

I've used real Ouija boards before, and had some pretty intense experiences, but you have to understand that the Ouija board is strictly and exclusively a conduit. There is nothing in it, it can only bring out what's in the location where it's used.

I did one when I was really young, about 8'ish? My cousin had 1 at my grandma's house. and it claimed that it was going to storm. and not even an hour after, it opened up and poured and stormed like crazy outside, so idk??

then a few years ago, my brother talked me into doing 1 with him and his friends at a grave yard (weird) and I was really skeptical about it.

There wasn't really anything that happened, when it moved, it was someone joking around. So there wasn't much seriousness in it... but my first experience with one was very odd.

Here's a new twist on the Ouija Board.....
Name the movies using an Ouija Board.   First one that comes to mind is "13 Ghosts" (the 1960 original, not the remake)
Are there others?

I loved it in the 80s and 90s. I saw it within the last year or two, it wasn't as great as I remember it being. I'm not sure if I ever saw the sequels

Just for the record, I may as well come clean, after seeing this film as a kid, I got into using ouija boards when I had friends over. I confess--I was ALWAYS the one moving the pointer! Whew, glad I got that off my chest. And I'm not sorry for anyone I scared. It was all in good fun!
