I definitely believe in ghosts. I have seen a few and have witnessed things that could have been from a ghost.

About 7 years ago I was at a friends (Liz) house. There was a narrow road around the lake with houses along this horse shoe drive. Behind all the houses is a wooded area. There was a rumor that devil worshippers gathered in the woods. They never bothered the people that lived in the house around the lake as long as the rumor had been going around.

Anyways, there was 3 of us (Me, Aimee and Liz) and my Aimee took my car to run up to the store in town. I watched Aimee pull out of the driveway through the door. As soon as she pulled out I turned around, I heard this pounding on the door. I turned back around and there was no one there. I immediately opened the door and looked no one was around. With me standing right there by the door I dont think someone could of pounded on the and ran off that fast. My other friend was right there and her face turned white.

Then later on that night all 3 of us are sitting in the livingroom watching TV. The front door was right there buy us and after the pounding incident we locked the doors, The screen doors too. So we are sitting there and the inside door rattles very loud and then came open like someone was trying to get in, and of course the outside screen door was still shut and locked.

So I got up to shut the door. In front of the door outside was a small cement slab, there was some side walk chalk out there from Liz's  niece that played with. What happened next may seems far fetched but it scared me enough to leave and to never go back. I looked out the front door and one of the pieces of chalk was moving. I didnt say anything but when we went to sleep I told my friend Aimee what happened and we decided to leave.

That is just one of many odd encounters.

One of my Roomates just informed me that our apartment is haunted. Oddly enough our buidling use to be a convent. She says one of the 3 spirits is actually a nun and she experienced weird noises and things being out of place. My other roomate hears banging on her bedroom door and windows and lights flickering on and off. I have not experienced anything really though I did hear weird banging noises on the back door, though Im not sure if it has to do with the spirits. She says one of the nights that these things were going on was a night I said I had a hard time sleeping. My roomate and another one of our roomates experienced bizzare happenings at their old apartment. My Roomate claims these kinds of experiences have happend to her since she has been a kid. I believe her and I believe spirits are real. But I have yet to experince these things for myself

I just reread through this. I really really gotta get my laptop over to my parents house & sisters house and record some of our ghost conversations so I can come home and write them down. There are tons of stories that are not included in here.

Also gotta say, I still don't appreciate being called "liar" but I guess to those that don't believe that's exactly what we believers are to them.

Not always, we can also be "fools" "drunks" "retards" "hillbillies" and every other derogatory name they can think of since they can't open their narrow minds to anything beyond their own beliefs.

I've had some small ghostly things happen to me, after my mum died of cancer last year. quite a few times, i've felt as i'm trying to go to sleep, i've felt someone touch/stroke my hair, and random objects fall off my shelves that really couldn't have been on a ledge/angle to fall. And electrical things have turned on. I swear i saw a white misty thing pass in the hallway two nights ago. Its not like they're scary things, but I'd just share my experiences.

I thought I'd kick off this forum with a post on my own personal experiences with ghosts.

This is a post I've made in the past, I actually saved the entire thing cause I get asked about my ghost stories so often...

You know whats so weird....

I was rereading my first post to this...and I don't remember any of the actual "sightings" anymore. And its only been 6 years since I posted this, and even more years since I wrote it. Of course I was really little at the time. I just sound "nutty" in this! HAHA. Like the woman I saw in the attic. I don't remember that at all. There are only a couple things from that house that I do remember - like the banging on the door. That is fuckin clear as hell to me and still terrifys me. But I definitely remember shit that happened in my 2nd house and my apartment. Plus I was a teenager then, not a really little kid.

Another thing, WHY THE FUCK DID I SPELL Ouija with a Q? LMAO I dunno!!!

I have my own ideas of what ghosts are, persoanlly I think people assume to much when it comes them. Never understod why anyone would asign humanist qualities to something which is non human, such as a soul or spirit would have to be by the definition of the words.
