Film got a 26.5 Million weekend box office off a 4.8 Million budget & overtook the bleakly under preforming Blade Runner 2049.
BD seems to think this may be a spark to relight main stream theater slasher films.

They always say that. Having said that, I agree that its possible. Just keep them low budget and we might see something similar to the 80s happen again.
