That's what happens when you put a towel over your face.

Can you even imagine that ?
The guy was lying in a sauna , relaxing. All of a sudden he's got a massive intrusion into his body and has a searing hot object that's burning him from the inside out .

Like you said - he never even saw it coming ... Ouch

Jason Takes Manhattan was one of the first Friday The 13th films I bought on vhs. I thought the movie was pretty cool and the director's story about how he convinced the actress to do her shower scene makes me laugh everytime. I thought he did a really good job and feel bad the script got changed so much but he did a good job with what he was given. He wanted to do more stuff in NYC but Paramount said they couldnt spend that much.

Having a towel over your face does that.

I remember the ad where Jason kicked the boombox then showed the guys his face. As a kid all I thought was "Don't want to see what they saw!"

JTM had a good idea which could\ve been a great idea , had the budget been larger to film in New York more .
Still some of the scenes were cool , and it's nice to see JV out of the woods for an installment .

Pt 7 had the best look though I think. They tried to get as much of the previous damage included and did a good job. My favorite part was seeing his spine. Made me shudder but then I thought it was cool. This movie had good makeup and i liked that Kane really did cough up water. He put in a great effort to make people happy u know what I mean?

Kane was a great person to play JV . He really put his effort into it and kept the fans happy .
Too bad that he was screwed out of FvJ , but it's nice to see him reach more success with the Hatchet series .
