Once they get to NY, I hate the movie. Jason does his head tilt and thats just it for me

Yeah, again, this goes back to the need for a serious re-tooling. There had to be a better way to approach this thing.

I am not a HUGE fan of part 8.  It doesn't make sense why Jason would basically only go after the boat people (yeah I know the drug users & a couple others...) There are thousands of people in New York & Jason wastes his time on Rennie & Shawn? I do like how Jason knocks Julius's block off..shows who the true warrior is!  I like Jim & Susie...wish they could've lastest longer...could have killed off the uncle a little sooner though...what a dick! I do still like the movie a little bit, stuck on a boat nowhere to go...probably didn't need to hit New York though.  I think what I do like is SOME of the characters.  A viewer can kinda empathize with Shawn being pushed by his father, Rennie being overprotected by her uncle, Julius and his need to defend himself, Wayne and his lack of self confidence, The prom queen and her overconfidence, etc.

Jason should have flipped the row boat over and finished them off all at once like Jaws Smiley

I really wish we could have gotten what the writer WANTED in this movie. Jason massacring mother fuckers in MSG would have been so bad ass. If they were to re-do any one movie of the series...this might be it. Well, this or Jason Goes to Hell. Jason X didn't exist as far as I'm concerned.

Oh and I love movies that show New York or Chicago in the 80's. The cities had a good feel to it.Like, it was dark and mysterious it seemed. Prolly because the 80's were the greatest! Even though I was born in 88

So you're saying that going to see Rock of Ages is a bad idea? Good, I almost considered it for about 10 seconds last night. I made the right choice then.

This was...a bad movie.

Jason isn't Jason. They took him to NY if only for the ending of the film, it was still stupid.

The whole boat idea isn't too too bad, but its still bad. I understand they were just trying for something different.

The ending is stupid and confusing. If you want to try to explain it away I know many have and ...well it helps, but the truth is they just fucked up big time.

Jason now seems to teleport, and yes the whole interaction with normal people on the streets of NY showing them his face is silly. It was okay for 1 good laugh, but its dumb
